Bars and The Craft Spirits Tirado Double Gold

One of the most difficult things for a new brand to do is to get into the Bars.  In my experience it is nice to see your product in the Bar Shelves, however at what expense. In my experience we make our money from direct sales to the fans or to the liquor store owners.  We loose money with the Bars.  They move very little cases and take an eternity to move them.  I probably spend 5 dollars to every one dollar they spend on us. The question is why? 1. Habit bartenders for the most part want to do things fast and will use products that they are familiar with. 2. No pressure from the owners to change their habits. As a results they end up using cheaper products. 3. Consumers are not asking for a particular liquor. 4. COST.  The craft spirits are more expensive then the COMMERCIAL SPIRITS.  As a result, the owners will gravitate to the less expensive products.  The end result is simple.  We are not for everyone.  I still stress that our products should be in places in which you have an inform consumer, that  supports local distilleries and who appreciate the small differences in their liquor.
